The Private Clinic no longer offer the snoring Laser Uvulopalatoplasty (LAUP) procedure.

Your snoring procedure will start with a consultation with ENT Surgeon, Yves Kamami.

We offer two types of in-house snoring treatments:

Laser Assisted (LAUP)

Laser Assisted

This is a variation of the LAUP procedure where the CO2 laser is instead used to air entry into the nose to reduce areas that are within the nose or septum.

In some cases, you may be referred to a plastic surgeon for if our ENT feels it may be more for you.

Once the procedure is complete, you will be free to leave the clinic and return home. Your will provide you with aftercare advice and to take during your recovery.

A member of our team will call you usually the day following your to ensure you are well following your procedure. You will have information on how to contact your clinic or on-call nursing team should you have any or at any point 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Following LAUP surgery, you should expect to experience moderate to severe pain or discomfort for 10 to 14 days. and acidic substances should be avoided for 2 weeks after the procedure.
