We have skin types and colours, and goals, and some habits that are not – all of which impacts the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with treatment and skincare options out there, understanding and the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.

What happens in the skin consultation

Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any  skin concerns and what your skin goals are. We combine that with a full skin examination and assessment, so we can create the right and skincare plan for you.

During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or from so we can fully your skin, the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or pigmentation. Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your treatment plan.

We’ll then discuss your daily and and treatment plan to get the best results for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of options including peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. Depending on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or specialist nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

Book a General skin analysis and consultation (click through the up coming website page) skin consultation with a specialist nurse or . Ideal for those with mild to moderate skin concerns including mild acne, skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully  for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised treatment plan will be recommended. If you have more pronounced skin concerns that a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .

To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card details will be against your booking. For Practitioner or Nurse consultations we take a fully refundable (subject to terms) of £25 and £50 for Doctor led consultations. Please refer to our for more information.

Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your concerns and create a  treatment plan.

The consultation is completely free, but we do a £25 deposit to secure your . You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your in line with our cancellation policy.​

The cost of your treatment and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but treatment can start from £59, depending on your clinic.

Your consultation will be with one of our experienced specialist nurses or practitioners with of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. Please note these consultations with a doctor or are  and do a refundable* – please check the consultation price before . We can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber for an   if you are about the signs of ageing. We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the consultation if you wish.

Our expert skin practitioners will ask a of questions which are designed to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:

You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we recommend that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time assessing your skin. We cannot fully your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or .

Step 1 – We will have a chat with you about everything you don’t love about your skin, whether you have any particular and what your goals are to help us create your personalised plan.

Step 4 – Our expert will create a personalised plan for you, which could combine both and an at-home regime. We may recommend several including chemical peels, microneedling, laser or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. If you have a more severe concern, such as cystic acne, we will refer you to a doctor. If you are interested in to boost your confidence, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse .
